NTCC To Field Division I Men's Soccer Fall 2010

The Northeast Texas Community College Department of Athletics is proud to announce its intentions to field a Men's Soccer team in Fall of 2010. "This is a proud day that we are able to add Men's Soccer to our department. It is a great opportunity for us to be able to offer another avenue to reach students and provide them with a quality education while they represent NTCC on the soccer field," said the Director of Athletics Chris Smith. "We have already scheduled 18 games for the fall season and have advertised the position for a Head Coach."

Northeast Texas Community College offers intercollegiate athletic competition for both men and women in a variety of sports. Northeast is a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) and the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association (NIRA). NJCAA sports include men's baseball and women's fast pitch softball at the Division I level. Men's rodeo and women's rodeo participate in NIRA sanctioned events.
